- Jacques Bankir,
CEO Baboo
Jacques Bankir has more than 40 years’ experience in the aeronautical world, mainly with Air France. Before joining Baboo in March 2008, Jacques was chairman and chief executive of Régional, where he was instrumental in the merger of the three airlines whose wings went to form this French carrier. He then set up an advisory structure within the AVICO group (Avico Aero Consulting), whose customers cover a whole range of airlines and airports.
At Air France, Jacques held numerous management positions such as head of the Roissy-CDG Project, deputy VP Cargo, VP North America, then VP Airport and In-Flight services and VP planning. Having been with Air France for more than 25 years, he joined the AOM, French airlines as executive VP, while acting as chairman of Cohor (coordination of French airport slots), before establishing and launching Air Tahiti Nui. Jacques then managed CityJet, an Irish company in the Foyle group, which he was able to turn around and assist in the sale to Air France. Among the offices he holds, Jacques is also a member of the board of directors of the low-cost carrier Vueling.
Jacques Bankir is a graduate of the French National Aeronautical Institution in Paris (Sup Aéro). Of French origin, he was born in Lisbon, is the father of three daughters and has ten grandchildren.
- François Bouteiller,
COO Baboo
François Bouteiller began his career with Aeroleasing in the business aviation segment as a LearJet and DC9 pilot. He then joined Crossair, flying MD-80s on charter and medium-haul flights. François gained his first management experience with SwissWorld, a long-haul airline established in 1995 in Geneva, where he held the position of quality and flight operations manager, while continuing his pilot duties on the Boeing 767 operating the Geneva-New York route. He became a flight captain with Swiss International on short- and medium-haul routes before leaving the airline in 2003 to found and launch Flybaboo with Julian Cook. This opportunity enabled him to combine his passion for flying aircraft with his management experience.
From the beginning of Flybaboo, François Bouteiller was the airline’s Chief Operating Officer (COO) and the "accountable manager" vis a vis the Swiss Civil Aviation authorities, thus supervising flight and ground operations, crew training and aircraft maintenance.
François Bouteiller attended technology and then business study courses at the Lausanne Business School (HEC). Originally from Lausanne, he holds French, Swiss and Canadian nationalities. He is married and the father of two children.
- Jean-Marc Panchaud,
Finance Director
Jean-Marc joined PricewaterhouseCoopers as financial auditor in 1997. His experience of more than 8 years spent within this firm enabled him to develop large knowledge in management of regional companies as well as of important quoted international groups. Jean-Marc holds an HEC licence and is a Swiss Certified Public Accountant.
- Fadi Ziadeh
Chief Commercial Officer
Fadi Ziadeh joined Flybaboo SA in 2006. He has accumulated a commercial experience of 13 years mainly within the telecommunication industry. Thanks to this experience, he has a sound knowledge of implementing teams and planning strategies for launching projects as well as of using technology to provide and introduce new services to clients.
Fadi holds an MBA from the University of Durham, UK.
Human Resources Manager
Natalia joined the Flybaboo team in 2008. Over the years, she has built herself a career in Human Resources beginning by working in a head-hunting firm specialised in the search for managers and executives. She then worked at an international company as a specialist in talent acquisition before becoming a Human Resource Generalist. Natalia gained experience in personnel management processes, training programs and the management of projects. She also worked in close collaboration with the various line managers to support, train and assist employees in their professional growth. She holds a Master’s Degree in Arts and Literature from the University of Lausanne.
