Jacques Bankir joined Baboo in March 2008. He has been involved with regional airlines since 1999 first as CEO of CityJet, an Irish airline that passed from the Foyle Group to the Air France Group in 2000, then as Chairman and CEO of Régional where he led the merger of the three airlines whose wings went to form this French carrier.
Before that, Jacques held numerous management positions at Air France such as head of the CDG Project, deputy VP Cargo, VP North America, VP Airport and In-flight Services and VP Planning. After Air France, he joined AOM as deputy Chief Executive, before building up and launching Air Tahiti Nui.
Jacques is also Managing Director of AVICO aero consulting. He is a graduate of Ecole Nationale Supérieure de l’Aéronautique et de l’Espace (Sup’Aero).
François Bouteiller began his career with Aeroleasing in business aviation as a LearJet and DC9 pilot. He then joined Crossair, flying MD-80s on charter and medium-haul flights. François gained his first management experience with SwissWorld, a long-haul airline established in 1995 in Geneva, where he was quality and flight operations manager as well as pilot on the Boeing 767 that operated the Geneva-New York route. He was a flight captain with Swiss International before leaving the airline in 2003 to found and launch Flybaboo with Julian Cook. This opportunity enabled him to combine his passion for flying aircraft with his management experience.
From the first days of Flybaboo, François Bouteiller has been its Chief Operations Officer and its Accountable Manager (official position implying the responsibility of all operational and training matters as required by FOCA, the Federal Office for Civil Aviation).
Jean-Marc joined the Baboo team in 2005. He worked previously for PricewaterhouseCoopers as a financial auditor for more than 8 years. His experience with the accountancy firm has provided him with in-depth management skills and knowledge regarding both regional companies and quoted international corporations.
Fadi joined Baboo in 2006 after more than 13 years of experience in the telecommunications field. In this highly competitive sector, he developed new markets and took on commercial responsibilities at the national level.
After two years as Baboo commercial director, Fadi has branched out into international relations and is now involved in defining the company's strategic development.
Philippe joined Baboo in January 2009. He spent 8 years in SABENA with positions in Rome and Paris. He was particularly active on the Italian and French markets that where strategic in the feeding of the Brussels hub.
He was then, for ten years Marketing and Communication Director for the Marseille airport and instrumental in the development of the MP2 low-cost terminal and the negotiation of the first Ryanair base in France.
Natalia joined the Baboo team in 2008. She began her human resources career with a headhunting firm, before working at a large international company as a talent acquisition consultant and then as an HR Generalist.
Natalia is skilled in recruitment, implementing HR procedures and internships, project management, and employee coaching, training and development.
Jean-François joined Baboo in 2004. A former flight captain, instructor and pilot at Swiss International Air Lines, he has extensive experience in the Swiss aeronautical domain. In charge of cockpit and cabin crew operations, he combines precision and open-mindedness to help make Baboo a first-class airline.
Yvan joined Baboo in 2007. Flight captain, instructor and expert with the Federal Office for Civil Aviation, he has a 30 years and 10,000 flight hours experience in aircraft ranging from private jets to wide-body Boeing 767 aircraft.
In charge of crew training, he uses his experience to ensure that the selection procedures, type ratings and continuing training programmes the highest standards of quality.
Stéphane joined Baboo in 2008. He has 18 years of experience with different airlines including Regional Airlines, Régional, Air Calédonie and Airlinair where he was involved in quality and operations management.
At Baboo, his job covers all aspects of airport services and the management of the Operational Control Center and crew planning and logistics.
Niels joined the Baboo team in 2006. As Technical Director, he is in charge of aircraft airworthiness and runs the technical services department while supervising all maintenance contracts.
Antoine joined the Baboo team in October 2006. He began working for Air France in 1993, holding different management positions in the USA and Paris where he led numerous projects such as the creation of Opodo. From 2002 to 2005, Antoine was a consultant for American investment funds. In 2005, he launched Air Turquoise which operated until August 2006.
Laurent joined Baboo in June 2007. He is responsible for revenue management, route development and scheduling. He strives to optimize short term revenue but with a constant view on the medium and long term objectives.
Laurent acquired his yield management skills at Club Med where he developed a new concept to deal with the tour operators. A financial background was added at Dome Close Brothers Merger and Acquisitions. He is also a teacher and consultant in revenue management. Not forgetting his love for Alpine sport and nature enjoyed with his family.
